Promote Training, the eLearning provider dedicated to the UK golf industry, have launched the first in their ‘Essentials’ series of courses entitled “Health & Safety Awareness”.

This new course, developed in partnership with Elearn4Business (a leading eLearning solutions provider for the leisure and sports sector), provides all levels of employee with an understanding of the implications of risk management and their legal responsibilities in respect of Health & Safety. It also helps identify the relationship between good standards of Health & Safety and good working practices.

The course takes approximately 45 minutes to complete and concludes with a multiple-choice quiz that delegates take in order to receive the automated certification. The course is aimed at individuals working in the Golf Industry that are new employees or existing individuals wanting a refresher of Health & Safety best practices.

Commenting on the new course, David Reeves, Co-Founder of Promote Training, says:

“This is the first in a series of courses we’re working on with Elearn4Business that address the compulsory training needs employers must provide to their employees. We’ve tailored it to the golf industry, so it will resonate with golf club staff more than some generic courses covering the same subject”.

By delivering the course via eLearning, employers receive confirmation and proof that their staff have undertaken the necessary training – an important audit trail when it comes to legally required education.

Multi-user licenses can be purchased online, with discounts for the more licenses purchased. Similar courses will also be added later in the year, including COSHH and Fire Safety training.

Commenting on the partnership, Rob Latter, Director of Elearn4Business says:
“We are delighted to launch our first online course with Promote Training and look forward to continuing to work with David and the team to bring first class eLearning to the UK golf industry”.
