Steven Brown, the UK’s leading consultant and lecturer on golf club food and beverage management, has joined forces with Promote Training to work on a new eLearning course.

Established in 1987 Steven’s company, Inn-Formation, are acknowledged as one of the UK’s premier providers of both golf club food & beverage consultancy and training/development services. Now, as part of a partnership with Promote Training, the first dedicated eLearning provider to the UK golf industry, Steven will be creating a new course on golf club food and beverage operations.

Commenting on the new relationship Steven says “there’s no doubt that the challenges and time constraints of running a golf club can severely inhibit the ability of Managers and Heads of Department to physically attend training courses. Whilst I will always firmly believe face-to-face training is still an essential offering that will remain within my own range of services, I fully appreciate that eLearning overcomes the geographical and time-based challenges of having to attend a course in person.”

As opposed to inviting the delegate to attend the training, eLearning takes the training to the delegate. Participants can progress through the learning materials anytime, anywhere and at their own pace – using Promote Training’s eLearning platform.
